Easter Eggstravaganza 2023

We had egg hunts for individuals of all abilities, including hunts for siblings! about 85 egg hunters found eggs stuffed with prizes. We also gave out about 50 prize eggs!

Everyone really enjoyed the petting zoo. They got to pet & feed goats, a camel, and even a kangaroo!

A huge thank you to Mickey Sullivan for providing all the treats! Who doesn’t love snocones, popcorn, & cotton candy?

Rising Above's Easter Eggstravaganza was held at Algood Elementary School on April 1, 2023.

Individuals with special needs and their families joined us for a day of fun, prizes, and egg hunting. We were so happy to host this wonderful event in person for the first time since 2019! Around 250 people were able to join us for this amazing & windy day!

Because of your generosity, the Easter Eggstravaganza was a free event for families in the Upper Cumberland. We are always grateful for your support as we seek to love and serve the special-needs community!
