"Control Freaks" Week 2 Wednesday
As special-needs parents it is easy to focus on the hard things or on the times when things did not go the way WE thought they should. One way we learn to “let go” and grow our trust in God is to remember His faithfulness. We need to remember all of the times He has protected and provided for us and our children. We tend to want to focus on the negatives, but when we shift our focus to God’s goodness and faithfulness our whole attitude changes and we are able to trust Him more.
- How can remembering God’s faithfulness help us in times when we are trying to be controlling?
- Are there things you do to remember all that God has done?
- Share a time when God showed up in an amazing way in your life or the life of your child.
