Cookeville Christmas Road Trip

Tuesday evening, December 7, Rising Above Ministries offered the Cookeville Christmas Road Trip for special-needs families around the Upper Cumberland area. Families were able to drive around receiving Christmas treats from participating businesses and churches.

Each stop along the "road trip" provided a variety of different items as giveaways to the families who participated, such as sweet treats, poinsettias, gift cards, ornaments, toys, hot chocolate and coffee, and craft items to show special-needs families love during the Christmas season.

Thank you to Poplar Grove Baptist Church, Stevens Street Baptist Church, Collegeside Church of Christ, Washington Avenue Baptist Church, the Jared Group, the River Community Church, Broast, Hidden Hollow, and First Baptist Church Cookeville, for their participation in this fun event for the Rising Above families.

Rising Above Ministries' mission is to provide hope and encouragement to special-needs families both locally and around-the-world, and The Cookeville Christmas Road Trip was one way to love and serve local families this year.
